Colton is a sweet playful 7 mo old boy. Neutered. Weighs 33.4 lbs. Has the longest tail we have ever seen! And a little fluffy! He is not aggressive! Is good with other dogs but is not good with cats. He is a little too young to test for heartworm status. But our rescue always treats the condition should he later retest positive. He came from an animal control facility and was on the euthanasia list due to lack of space, so we pulled this sweet boy. He looks like he has to gain a little weight! We believe he may be a mix of Staffordshire terrier and Dalmatian. But it's a guess! If you are interested in meeting him or adopting, please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public, but we also provide dogs to military veterans for emotional support or companionship at no charge. Our adoptable dogs are posted on our website www.rescuepetsservingvets.org. And also, the very brief application is on our site as well.
Agatha is a sweetheart of a dog. She is 2 yrs old. Had a litter of puppies in SC 4 months ago but she is spayed now, vaccinated, and has already started her heartworm treatment which we complete at the rescue. She is dog friendly, but we don't recommend a home with cats. She was way too interested in chasing them. If you would like to meet or adopt her, please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public, but we also provide dogs to military veterans at no charge in order to help our veterans in need of a companion or emotional support dog. Our website is www.rescuepetsservingvets.org. Other adoptable dogs are also posted on our website.

Snoopy came from a horrible hoarding situation in Northern Pa. He was kept inside a trailer with other dogs in feces and urine. They were only fed occasionally. Snoopy regardless of his history is so loving with people and at first a little energetic but calms down after a bit. He was cohoused w another dog from the same trailer when they arrived here and they slept together on the same bed. He needs a chance for a real life and loving family. No aggression at all. He came unneutered but the rescue will be neutering him shortly. We will also be cat testing him to see if he is compatible with cats. We adopt to the general public but also provide dogs to military veterans at no charge in order to give veterans emotional support dogs or companion animal. Our website https://rescuepetsservingvets.org has more available dogs and our very brief application. Please text Casey at 570-441-0083 if interested in Snoopy or any other dogs.
Meet Harley! Age is a 2 yr. old female 45 lb. female American Staffordshire. She was confiscated from an animal cruelty situation where multiple females where being bred repeatedly outside in the heat and dirt, living with huge chains attached to their necks. She luckily tested negative for heartworm. She has now been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Despite all this abuse she is still shy and sweet and loves human affection. She has shown some fear aggression when she was interacting with another pushy dog, so she may be best to be in a home as an only pet.
